Vicky Betzig, CMP, a leader and trendsetter in today’s meetings and events industry, leads the Boot Camp. With over 24 years of industry experience she has held positions in hotel sales, in catering and convention services, and in meeting management for a variety of associations and corporations. She is an active member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and a strong proponent of the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation. Vicky develops and teaches CMP prep courses for a variety of organizations and is a frequent author for numerous industry trade publications and textbooks. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct professor for Roosevelt University’s (Chicago) meeting and event management certificate program.
