A color rendering index is a quantitative measure of the ability of a light source to reveal the colors of various objects faithfully in comparison with the ideal or natural light source.  Light sources with a high CRI are desirable in color-critical applications.

The Gemini Plus Headlight.  The spot size has been increased to 140 mm and the improved optics creates a brighter light regardless of the light source. The encapsulated ultra-low-profile design does not interfere with surgical loupes and allows surgeons to work closely without bumping headlights.  The headlight weighs 8 ounces and features two easy–to-use controls for spot size and lens adjustment.  The sweatbands are removable and replaceable.
