The School of Marine Sciences, SunYat-sen University was founded in June 2008.The school is focused on fundamental science under the subject of marine resource and environment and commits itself to researches on deep-sea genetic resources, biological resource protection, marine geology and mineral resources, marine environment, marine engineering, marine observation and relevant technology developments.
