How do I reset my SSO password?

Click on the "Forgot password?" link below the Sign In button on our login page, then enter your logon username and click "Submit." You will then receive an email with instructions to reset your password. You can also request help by contacting ssocustomersupport@surgonc.org or membership@surgonc.org.


What time zone does the meeting schedule reflect?

All times on the website are expressed in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
I missed the beginning of a session. Can I watch it later?
Yes, after each session has concluded it will be posted as an on-demand video available on the virtual event site through September 18, 2020. After September 18, the recorded sessions will be available in ExpertEd@SSO.


What happens after the virtual meeting ends?

The platform will remain active through Friday, September 18, 2020. All of the content will be recorded and remain available for viewing on-demand, including all ePosters. After September 18, the recorded sessions will be available in ExpertEd@SSO.


Will all the sessions be recorded?

Do I need a webcam to experience the virtual event?

No, you do not need a webcam and can attend in view-only format on your desktop computer or mobile device.


Can I attend the virtual event on a mobile device?

Yes, the site can be viewed on a mobile device and will be formatted for mobile viewing.


Is there a special plug-in that I need to install to attend the virtual event?

No, an up-to-date web browser is the only requirement to participate in the virtual event.


My institution has a highly restrictive browser policy and I'm having issues accessing the site. What can I do?

First, try using a personal device to access the meeting if you have one available. Alternately, you may need to ask your IT department to allow access to the following domains to access the Virtual Meeting:

What should I do if I'm having trouble viewing the ePosters?

How do I ask questions during a session?

When you access a session, you will see a tab to the right of the live streaming player containing a Q&A widget you can submit questions through. You can choose to submit your questions anonymously or include your name. Once submitted, your question will appear after the moderator has approved your question for display. Attendees can then upvote questions, allowing popular questions to float to the top for easy visibility during the Q&A portion of the session.


I want to ask a question after a session – is that possible?

You can contact the session speakers by using the social media links the speaker has provided in their bio. Alternately, please contact speakers@surgonc.org for assistance.

Can I claim CME credit for the sessions I've attended?

Yes. To claim CME credit for the SSO 2020 Virtual Meeting, navigate to this link. Click 'CME Evaluation' in the left navigation bar, login with your SSO credentials, complete your survey and claim your credit.


How many CME credits are available to claim?
