The Marriott Marquis hosts the majority of TRB’s committee and panel meetings that take place during the five days of the Annual Meeting. Each year, TRB’s varied activities engage more than 7,000 engineers, scientists, and other transportation researchers and practitioners from the public and private sectors and academia, all of whom contribute their expertise in the public interest by participating on TRB committees, panels, and task forces.
Floor Cling signs of logos are nine square feet and placed on the aisles in the exhibit hall.

1. Ad Preparation
- Print-optimized, press-quality PDF files are preferred.
- Alternatively, digital files (Mac or PC platform) are acceptable in the following programs: Indesign CS, QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator CS, or Adobe Photoshop CS.
2. Guidelines
- Include all artwork, fonts, and the document on the disk.
- Convert all type to outlines.
- Do not use True Type fonts.
- Do not use font attributes from the measurement palette, i.e., bold, italic, etc.
- Set all color to CMYK.
- Spot colors must be in the exact color in the final file, especially if duotones or colorized TIFF images are used.
- Set up all images as TIFF or EPS.
- Set bleeds according to the measurements listed above.
3. Color Reproduction
- For accurate color reproduction please provide a high-end color proof such as Kodak Approval, Iris, or other dot-generated digital proof.
- The accuracy of the color cannot be guaranteed if a color laser or low-res PDF is supplied.
4. Ad Submission
- Please submit the final ad file on a CD or transfer the file via an FTP site (e-mail instructions for downloading from the FTP); only send an ad file as an e-mail attachment if it is less than 8 MB in size; do not compress the file or save it in Zip format.
