District Department of Transportation
The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) manages and maintains transportation infrastructure in Washington, DC. We plan, design, construct, and maintain the District's streets, alleys, sidewalks, bridges, traffic signals, and street trees. We also operate the Capital Bikeshare, DC Streetcar, and Circulator bus services.
