Health Volunteers Overseas
Volunteers needed! Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO) is a nonprofit organization that seeks to improve global health through education of the local health workforce in resource-scarce countries. The success of our programs depends upon volunteers who donate their time and expertise to work side-by-side with their colleagues overseas. Their work improves patient care by bringing skills, knowledge and professional opportunity to local health care providers and building the capacity of health systems to address the health care needs of their communities.
