ASCO Quality Programs offer a robust portfolio of initiatives available around the world to support oncology professionals in their efforts to improve and promote the highest quality patient care. The Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) is an oncologist-led, practice-based quality assessment program designed to promote excellence in cancer care by helping practices create a culture of self-examination and improvement. The QOPI Certification Program provides a three-year certification for outpatient hematology-oncology practices who demonstrate their commitment to quality to their patients and the medical community. The Quality Training Program (QTP) offers 6-month and 1-day workshops to train physician-led oncology teams to design and implement successful quality improvement activities in their practice settings. Domestic US practices can also participate in the QOPI Reporting Registry, a one-stop shop for submitting data to CMS for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System.
