ASCO Guidelines & Measures
ASCO produces clinical practice guidelines, provisional clinical opinions, endorsements, adaptations, and organizational standards to help establish the highest quality and organization of cancer care. Developed by multidisciplinary panels of experts, including patient advocates, the guideline and standard products address pressing clinical situations (disease-oriented), the use of approved medical products, procedures, or tests (modality-oriented), or the organization of cancer care. ASCO’s dissemination and implementation tools include slide sets, recommendation tables, algorithms, flow sheets, decision aids, pocket cards, podcasts, patient information, and now webinars.
