ASCO Patient Education
ASCO's patient education website, Cancer.Net (www.cancer.net), provides timely, oncologist-approved information to help patients and families make informed health care decisions. All content is subject to a formal peer-review process by the Cancer.Net Editorial Board, composed of more than 150 medical, surgical, radiation, and pediatric oncologists, physician assistants, oncology nurses, social workers, and patient advocates. There is also a blog, podcasts, videos, and content in Spanish.
ASCO’s printed series, ASCO Answers, is a collection of oncologist-approved patient education materials developed by ASCO for people with cancer and their caregivers. ASCO Answers includes more than 60 award-winning guides, fact sheets, and booklets, covering a broad range of important and popular topics in cancer care.
