AGE RESTRICTIONS - Are there any age restrictions to get into the exhibit hall?
No one under the age of 18 is allowed in the exhibit hall area at any time.

AIRPORT & TRANSPORTATION- What is the closest airport to the convention center and what ground transportation is available?
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is just six minutes away and the closest airport to the convention center.  The Gaylord Texan Hotel also has partnered with Super Shuttle to provide an economical choice for airport transportation services in their familiar blue vans.  When taking Super Shuttle, please plan for a one-hour trip each way between the hotel and the airport. Upon arrival to the airport you must use the phones in Baggage Claim to call Super Shuttle for pickup. 

For additional information or to make a reservation, call Super Shuttle at 1-800-258-3826 or book your shared van ride online. Shuttles depart the front drive of the hotel daily between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The DFW shuttle departs every 20 minutes, and the Love Field shuttle departs on the hour during this time.

An agent can assist with your travel needs and ticket purchase, or you can use their kiosk, which is conveniently located at the welcome desk.  If an agent is not available to provide assistance, you can find the Hotel's shuttle located immediately to the left as you exit the front door of the lower level of the airport.  The shuttle will drop off any passengers staying at the Radisson before proceeding to the Gaylord Texan.  Click HERE to purchase your shuttle ticket.

BADGES (exhibitors) – How can I register our booth personnel? How many badges is our company eligible for and what do they give us access to.
Each company will be provided with an unlimited amount of exhibitor badges.  Exhibitor booth personnel badges allow access to the Exhibits ONLY.  Exhibitor Registration is now open.  Please click HERE to register your exhibit personnel.

BUDGET - How do I work with a tight budget?

  • Always order your services before the discount deadlines.
  • Consolidate your freight and shrink wrap it to avoid additional material handling charges.
  • For large groups use shuttle transportation rather than individual taxi service.
  • Always bring back up supplies so you don’t have to rent them for a premium at the show.
  • Some items are cheaper to bring on your own rather than renting them over and over again at every show. (i.e. power strips, extension cords, fake plants, trash can etc.)
  • Consider the costs of rental displays, carpet and booth furnishing versus shipping and material handling charges for your own display.
  • Meet your freight target times (if applicable), and instruct your drivers to check in at the marshaling yard before the deadline time noted in the service manual to avoid additional surcharges.
  • For larger booths - ship hanging signs and carpet in advance to allow for straight-time installation when possible.

The 2011 Training Summit Planning Committee is in the process of finalizing the agenda for the Summit.  Please check back for updates.

Business professional is always welcome, but khakis and company logo polo-shirts are acceptable.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS - How can I make hotel reservations? What are cut-off dates and what are the room rates?

Please contact the Gaylord Texan Hotel & Convention Center directly at 866-782-7897 or 817-778-1000 to make your hotel reservations.  Be sure to mention that you are part of the "DRRE Exhibitor Block" - Group Code: A-NDE09 to receive the special exhibitor room rate.

The following rates will be available until April 7, 2011 or until the room block is filled. Reservation requests received after 5:00 p.m. local time at the hotel on the cut-off date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. 

 

REGISTRATION (CONFERENCE) - How do I register for the Training Summit; what does it include; and what qualifications are necessary?
