Who should attend?

As the only specialty meeting exclusively dedicated to portal hypertensions and interventions, Portal 360 is for interventional radiologists, physicians-in-training, nurses, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners who want to gain valuable new skills, deep-dive into challenging techniques, and network and collaborate with industry peers and partners.

Does Portal 360 provide discounts on hotel accommodations?

Portal 360 has reserved a special block of rooms at a discounted rate. We encourage you to reserve your room early as rooms may sell out before the deadline of September 4, 2025. Please visit the event website to view more details and reserve your hotel room.

What types of sponsorship packages are available?

Is online or on-demand access available?

The 2025 Portal Intervention Symposium is designed to be an in-person conference experience, and we encourage attendees to join us in Chicago, IL. Live streaming or on-demand access is not planned.

I'm a physician in training. Is free registration available?

With the support of our industry partners, we are pleased to offer residents, fellows, and medical students the opportunity to apply for a scholarship which provides complimentary registration to the Portal 360 Symposium. Applications are now being accepted here.

When will I find out about the status of my submission?

You will be notified about the status of your proposal in mid August, 2025.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

A variety of ground transportation options are available to get from your preferred Chicago-area airport to the hotel. Please visit the event website for further details.

What is the official conference attire?

Business casual attire is recommended for the conference for all events.

How much does it cost to attend Portal 360?

Is registration free if my abstract or case is selected for presentation?

Accepted abstract and case presenters must be registered for the conference at the appropriate rate for their registration category.

Is parking available at the hotel?

Self-parking is available at the hotel at $61 per day (subject to change).

The hotel is also located within a five-minute walk of the CTA Grand Station stop on the Red line.

What are acceptable payment options?

All major credit cards are accepted for registration payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover).

If your company has purchased a sponsorship, our team distributed the appropriate registration codes. If you are unsure if your company has available codes, please contact us via email.

What is the trainee case competition and how can I enter?

All physicians in training (residents, fellows, and medical students) are invited to submit an interesting case for presentation at Portal 360. A dedicated trainee case competition will be held during the symposium with the top case presenter being awarded a $500 prize. Submit your interesting case today!

Do you offer any airline discounts?

We are pleased to partner with United Airlines for air travel to Portal 360. Please visit the event website for booking instructions to receive the discounted airfare.

I registered but haven't received a confirmation email. How do I get another one sent to me?

You can request to have your confirmation email resent by emailing the Portal 360 Registration Center.

What if I need to cancel my participation as an abstract or case presenter?

If you can no longer present at Portal 360, please email our team to withdraw your submission.

Will Wi-FI be available?

Yes, Wi-Fi access will be available in the meeting space. 

Can I register onsite?

Onsite registration will be available if slots still remain. We encourage you to register early to save you seat!

Is the venue ADA-accessible?

Yes, the hotel is ADA-compliant. You may book an accessible hotel room through the online link. In accordance with the ADA, we are pleased to provide special accommodations to support your attendance. Please email our team to discuss your specific needs.
