Make the Most of Your Virtual Meeting Experience with a Few Simple Steps

We are looking forward to the start of SSO 2020 on Monday at 5:00 pm EDT! For the best virtual meeting experience, please follow the simple steps below.

  • Check your internet browser.
    You will be able to view the SSO 2020 Virtual Meeting as long as you use a supported browser. The list of supported web browsers and versions is as follows:
    • Chrome (preferred): Versions 80 and 81
    • Safari for Mac: Versions 12 and 13
    • Safari for Windows: Versions 4 and 5
    • Firefox: Version 74
    • Microsoft Edge: Versions 80 and 81

  • Please note that Internet Explorer is not supported and should not be used to access the meeting. In addition, you do not need to install any software or adjust any computer settings to view the videos.

    If you plan to view the Virtual Meeting from your institution, please know that your access may be restricted due to internal browser policy. You may need to ask your IT department to “white list” the domains below, or you may opt to view the virtual meeting from an alternative location.
  • Test your bandwidth prior to the live Virtual Meeting.
    To ensure your bandwidth for the live event is strong, please perform a system check by clicking on the link: www.speedtest.net

  • Test your log-in prior to Monday evening.
    Please use the following link to access the SSO 2020 Virtual Meeting site: sso2020.onlineeventpro.freeman.com

    You will need to enter your SSO account username and password. If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot password?” link and follow the directions that appear on the screen.   • Explore the SSO 2020 Virtual Meeting site.
    Once logged in, you will have access to the SSO 2020 Virtual Meeting site. Prior to the official start of the meeting on Monday at 5 PM EDT, you will be able to review session schedules, faculty, ePosters and top-rated videos. You can add sessions to your calendar as you create your schedule.

Live Q & A Discussions
Live discussion periods are scheduled during the Virtual Forum sessions. When you access a session, you will see a tab to the right of the video player containing a Q&A widget. You may submit questions through this widget. Once submitted, the moderator will approve your question and it will appear in the display.

Annual SSO Poster Contest
Review the highlighted posters available on-demand and cast your vote for the best Basic/Translational Research and Best Clinical Research posters by midnight EDT on Friday, August 21, 2020. Full information included on the Posters page of the Virtual Meeting.
