With fully automated measurements, the CS8900 is a significant advancement for testing compliance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Access criteria for sidewalks. Eliminate random and time consuming measurements with manual tools like straightedges and digital levels. With the CS8900, measurements are simultaneously recorded for cross-slope, running grade, evenness, and longitudinal profile.  Users can also collect defined inerval types (such as curb ramps, driveways, overhead obstacles, etc).  High resolution pictures and GPS positions can also be collected with the sidewalk surface data.  Reports are generated by the CS8900 software, or the data can be exported to various formats for use in third party software applications (e.g., GIS, Excel, PDF, ProVal).
