FHWA National Highway Institute
The National Highway Institute (NHI), housed within FHWA’s Office of Technical Services (OTS), provides technical training to the transportation highway workforce to build skills and enhance job performance to improve the conditions and safety of our nations’ roads, highways and bridges. We train personnel from federal agencies, State DOTs, local public agencies, industry, and academia.
