GHIT Fund is an international public-private partnership fund for global health R&D between the Government of Japan, multiple pharmaceutical companies, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome, and UNDP. The GHIT Fund invests in product development including diagnostics, drugs, and vaccines for neglected diseases, such as malaria, tuberculosis and neglected tropical diseases that afflict the world’s poorest people.
