The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) administers the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) program. CLIA establishes quality laboratory standards to protect patient safety and improve the quality of health care. CLIA serves over 255,000 clinical laboratories and the results from these laboratories provide 70% of all diagnostic information for our physicians and providers.
