The National Snow and Ice Data Center advances knowledge and understanding of Earth’s frozen regions—including snow, ice, glaciers, and frozen ground—through data analysis, collaborations with local communities, and management and distribution of scientific data. The center offers user support, tools for data access, and expertise from in-house scientists.
