Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS)
Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) was established in 2003 to promote geosciences and its application for the benefit of humanity.
Recognizing that the Asia-Oceania region is particularly vulnerable to natural hazards, AOGS is deeply involved in addressing such hazard-related issues via scientific, social and technical approaches.
Annually, AOGS holds meetings to provide opportunities for geo-scientific discussion and knowledge exchange among academic, research and public institutions.
