Wildlands and Woodlands is a science-based collaborative working to help triple the pace of land conservation in New England and conserve 70% of the region in forest and 7% in farmland by 2060. Led by researchers from Harvard Forest and Highstead, we work to 1) synthesize and communicate the region’s land-use, land ownership, and conservation funding trends, 2) convene partnerships to build land conservation capacity and effect policy change, and 3) advance innovative conservation finance.
