Our Services

Consulting

In close collaboration with the client, we find the best and most effective monitoring solution

Manufacture

All instruments are built and tested by ASIR engineers in our shop in Carbondale, USA

Installation

We make sure the instruments are being deployed safely and successfully in the field

Maintenance

Station health is being monitored continuously and maintained remotely (or on-site, if needed)

Data Analysis

ASIR can process and analyze seismic data that have been acquired by our sensors/stations

ASIR is a borehole seismic instrumentation and Research & Development company specializing in high sensitivity monitoring and analysis of microearthquake activity. We are providing the full range of design, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and support services for modern solid earth monitoring.

ASIR has a senior staff of lead geophysical technologists and engineers specializing in solid earth-monitoring. We are also associated with a group of instrumentation, service, and consulting companies for rapid turn-around at international sites. We maintain contact with geophysical researchers and institutions. These contacts allow us to take on large scale projects on a world-wide basis.

ASIR staff have surveyed sites, built instruments for, installed, and maintained networks at the locations shown in the map below. We have also contributed data analysis and interpretation to many scientific publications resulting from these installations.

350+

successfully deployed borehole stations

Products

We offer a broad range of standard and specialized seismic borehole instruments covering the complete earthquake frequency spectrum.
Our sensors are being used for monitoring and controlling Geothermal plants, CO2-Sequestration, Waste disposal, and non-conventional reservoirs.
Custom deeper borehole and higher temperature sondes are also available.
