KAUST is a graduate-level research university of science and technology located on the shores of the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. Curiosity-driven and goal-oriented research is conducted by students, faculty and researchers to address the world's pressing scientific and technological challenges related to food, water, energy and the environment. The Earth Science and Engineering (ErSE) program is rich with opportunities, for both M.S. and Ph.D. students, with a focus on modern computational and advanced data-analysis methods to study geophysical problems associated with atmospheric processes and ocean circulation, Earth structure and natural resources, earthquake processes and crustal deformation.
