School of Ocean and Earth Science, Tongji University
The School of Ocean and Earth Science of Tongji University currently has 280 undergraduates, 310 master and doctoral students and 90 faculty members, with three bachelor degree programs of geology, geophysics and marine resource exploration and exploitation technology, two first-level doctoral degree programs of marine science and geophysics, and two post-doc stations of marine science and geophysics. It earns the support of national 211 project as well as the 985 project from the Ministry of Education, and in 2005, the State Key Laboratory of Marine Geology was established.
