Third Pole Environment
The Third Pole Environment (TPE) is an international program for the interdisciplinary study of the relationships among water, ice, air, ecology and humankind in the Third Pole region and beyond. TPE is headquarted in Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Science，a world-class scientific institution and leader in Pan-Third Pole Earth System Science.
