The University of Arizona Department of Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences
The vision of the University of Arizona's Dept. of Hydrology & Atmospheric Sciences is to lead the world in quantitative hydrologic and atmospheric sciences research. We aim to incorporate technology and interdisciplinary fields to study and communicate information, challenges, and solutions regarding Earth's water, hydrogeologic, weather, and climate systems. We specialize in areas such as groundwater, vadose zone, and surface water hydrology, water quality/chemistry, weather/climate analysis & forecasting, hydrologic & atmospheric modeling, applications of remote sensing in hydrology & atmospheric sciences, hydrometeorology etc. We are here to serve students interested in studying and pursuing careers in weather, water, and climate!
