Ergonomic Features
The console ergonomic workspace is designed to be operated comfortably by anyone in a seated or standing position - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (ANSI/BIFMA and HFES ergonomic standards). The primary and secondary platforms provide full leg clearance and the ability to lift both platforms for maximum comfort. Memory presets give users instant, finger-tip control over their ergonomic console. To allow easy focal adjustment, the adjustable monitor shelving system offers the monitors adjustment for optimal productivity.
Technology Integration
Designed for optimal technology integration, the consoles can be equipped with single or double CPU enclosures, can have front, rear and top access to ensure quick access to power and proper cable storage. The CPU enclosure comes with a slide out shelf and is designed to maximize airflow. When required, CPU low-noise thermostatic fans are available. The Transit also includes the option to house rack-mount equipment, KVM extenders, radio systems, back-up phones, touchscreens and many others.
Cable Management
Cables are stored and organized out of sight in the interior of the module and are easily accessible from the front and rear panels. The console is supplied with cable chains designed to route the cables from one surface to the other; to the CPU enclosure or the console wall to ensure that the vertical movement of the surface does not cause any cable to disconnect. The Transit system can integrate various power supply outlets including retractable monuments, power raceways, and power bars within the console for easy access.
Ergonomic Accessories
A unique feature of the TRANSIT console is its vertical or Horizontal mounted slat wall system seamlessly integrated into the console structure. The sturdy slat wall design allows for multiple Articulated Arms to be mounted allowing for varied LCD configurations and viewing possibilities. Sustema offers a complete line of Articulated Arms for all LCD sizes. Articulated Arms free up desktop space providing operators with the ability to precisely adjust LCD positions and neatly incorporate the cabling and wiring. A personal ventilation system allows for optimum operator comfort. With easy to controls fresh air and heat can be distributed either above or surface satisfying even the most critical environmental needs. Learn More
