    Designed to improve critical response times and eliminate communication silos in the emergency call center, Sustema’s alerting system brings situational awareness to a whole new level by further integrating visual notification systems with consoles.     Sustema’s personal environmental system PES 360 provides operator’s with full control of their workspace at their fingertips. The capacitive touch screen allows dispatchers to control the fan speed, temperature, lighting levels, lift surface heights, task lights, and alerting system. Sustema’s console lines are well-known for their ease of integration, modularity, scalability, durability, and ergonomic features in the public safety industry. 

    Sustema’s ergonomic console design seeks to reduce the anxiety and distractions experienced by 911 dispatchers on a daily basis with ergonomic design elements such as; sitting, standing, legroom clearance, reach zones, and viewing angles to deliver unparalleled comfort and control. The PES 360 integrates to the console seamlessly to serve as a central control unit and eliminate the need for multiple fan or heater controls, leaving the workspace uncluttered.

    Height-adjustable surfaces can be fine-tuned to the operator’s needs while encouraging users to remain active by integrate movement throughout the day, which is vital for health. Focal depth adjustment and user-controlled task and ambient lighting allow operators to adjust the environment easily over the course of a shift. The console system controlled through the digital interface allows for optimum operator comfort with fresh air distributed above the work surface and easy to use finger-tip controls.

    Ergonomic Features

    The console ergonomic workspace is designed to be operated comfortably by anyone in a seated or standing position - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (ANSI/BIFMA and HFES ergonomic standards). The primary and secondary platforms provide full leg clearance and the ability to lift both platforms for maximum comfort. Memory presets give users instant, finger-tip control over their ergonomic console. To allow easy focal adjustment, the adjustable monitor shelving system offers the monitors adjustment for optimal productivity.

    Technology Integration

    Designed for optimal technology integration, the consoles can be equipped with single or double CPU enclosures, can have front, rear and top access to ensure quick access to power and proper cable storage. The CPU enclosure comes with a slide out shelf and is designed to maximize airflow. When required, CPU low-noise thermostatic fans are available. The Transit also includes the option to house rack-mount equipment, KVM extenders, radio systems, back-up phones, touchscreens and many others.

    Cable Management

    Cables are stored and organized out of sight in the interior of the module and are easily accessible from the front and rear panels. The console is supplied with cable chains designed to route the cables from one surface to the other; to the CPU enclosure or the console wall to ensure that the vertical movement of the surface does not cause any cable to disconnect. The Transit system can integrate various power supply outlets including retractable monuments, power raceways, and power bars within the console for easy access.

    Ergonomic Accessories

    A unique feature of the TRANSIT console is its vertical or Horizontal mounted slat wall system seamlessly integrated into the console structure. The sturdy slat wall design allows for multiple Articulated Arms to be mounted allowing for varied LCD configurations and viewing possibilities. Sustema offers a complete line of Articulated Arms for all LCD sizes. Articulated Arms free up desktop space providing operators with the ability to precisely adjust LCD positions and neatly incorporate the cabling and wiring. A personal ventilation system allows for optimum operator comfort.
