FEMA Integrated Public Alert & Warning Systems (IPAWS)
The Integrated Public Alert & Warning System (IPAWS) is a modernization and integration of the Nation’s emergency alert and warning infrastructure that saves time when time matters, protecting life and property. IPAWS works with private and public partners to provide services and capabilities to enable Federal, state, territorial, tribal, and local governmental authorities to alert and warn their respective communities before, during, and after a disaster via multiple communications pathways.
