National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) plans and directs research in the development and evaluation of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients suffering from diseases of the heart, blood vessels, lung, and blood, obesity, and sleep disorders.
