Secure Transfusion Solutions
STS builds and operates apheresis collection centers under the Trusting Heart brand. Our goal is to help hospitals around the country build a robust, resilient supply of pathogen-reduced platelets to meet patient needs. In addition, in 2022 STS launched research leukapheresis collections under IRB oversight at its Raleigh, North Carolina, Trusting Heart donation center. STS is leveraging its proven ability to recruit and retain younger donors to screen and characterize a pedigreed donor pool of leukapheresis donors to support the needs of cell therapy researchers and developers.
