InteGen develops innovative, clinically useful, and cost-effective DNA FISH probes for the cytogenetics community. We offer multi-color metaphase and interphase chromosome profiling, including our Rapid FISH with 15-minute hybridization. InteGen FISH probes 1) detect balanced, unbalanced, and Robertsonian translocations, 2) provide high-resolution breakpoint assignment, 3) characterize marker and add chromosomes, and 4) detect balanced and unbalanced sub-telomere rearrangements. Our multiplex rehybridization protocol makes complete molecular profiling on a single circulating tumor cell possible, while our rapid hybridization allows same-day results, permitting fresh embryo transfer for IVF patients. With multiple-sequential hybridizations and a simple two dual filter detection system, you will be able to achieve comprehensive genome coverage/profiling with our probes on as few as a single cell.

 Press Releases

  • ASRM 2019 – InteGen Press Release

InteGen is a diagnostic reagent manufacturing company and develops  innovative DNA probes with clinical applications in cancer genetics, miscarriages, prenatal diagnoses, and IVF. We offer multi-color interphase chromosome profiling (ICP) and InstaFISH with 15-minute hybridization. Our multiplex approach provides guaranteed and comprehensive results than other genetic testing methods. All of our products have the following attributes: 1) Faster 2) Better 3) Cheaper and 4) failure-proof. Our products can be used in invasive and non-invasive prenatal and cancer testing. Using our breakthrough technology, IVF clinics can offer fresh embryo transfer and in-house PGT-A testing.  Determining the genetic status of a pregnancy can be done in less than an hour using our 15-minute InstaFIsH technology. Establishing a cancer, making specific diagnosis and obtaining prognostic information can all be done in less than 4 hours from as little as a single circulating tumor cell in the peripheral blood (the liquid biopsy).

In the field of molecular diagnostic cytogenetics, our probes can 1) detect balanced, unbalanced, and Robertsonian translocations, 2) provide high-resolution breakpoint assignment, 3) characterize marker and add chromosomes, and 4) detect balanced and unbalanced sub-telomere rearrangements. Our Multiplex probe design saves technologists’ time and reagent costs, and we guarantee that our prices are the most cost-effective in the market. We can also make custom probes for all of your research and clinical needs.

  • PGT-A Multiplex Interphase Chromosome Profiling
Simple, comprehensive and rapid (same day) test for detection of chromosome aneuploidy and common microdeletions...

  • Our Multiplex FISH panel detects aneuploidy of all 24 chromosomes (PGT-A) as well as all common microdeletions. It is cost effective because of the ability to reflex the test. In the first step aneuploidy for most common chromosomes (13,18,21, X and Y) and all common microdeletions will be detected. So only embryos normal at this point, usually 1 or 2, will be further tested for the remaining chromosomes.

Each step is very rapid and completed in one hour.

The rapid and comprehensive testing provides results in few hours (on day 3 or 5), so that those opting for fresh embryo transfer can accomplish the procedure. Even if the decision was to freeze the embryos, since results are available the same day, only genetically normal embryos would be frozen resulting in additional cost savings.

This simple procedure is amenable to in-house testing in the IVF clinics bringing additional revenue.
  • XY Probe for gender selection
Rapid (1 hour) FISH test for sex chromosomes...

  • Our rapid XY probe test provides results in one hour for gender selection so that those opting for fresh embryo transfer can accomplish the procedure. Even if the decision was to freeze the embryos, since results are available the same day, only normal genetically desired embryos would be frozen resulting in additional cost savings.

This simple procedure is amenable to in-house testing in the IVF clinics bringing additional revenue.

  • Screening test for balanced translocation carriers
FISH test for rapid detection (one hour) of embryos with unbalanced chromosome abnormalities due to a balanced translocation in of the parents...

  • Our rapid custom screening probe test provides results in one hour. Unbalanced chromosome abnormalities such as large chromosomal duplications and deletions will be detected. The probe sets are custom made in the IVF clinic based on the history of chromosome rearrangement such as a balanced translocation in one of the parents. The rapid results allow those opting for fresh embryo transfer to accomplish the procedure. Even if the decision was to freeze the embryos, since results are available the same day, only normal genetically desired embryos would be frozen resulting in additional cost savings.

This simple procedure is amenable to in-house testing in the IVF clinics bringing additional revenue.
