PsychU Focusing On Data & Technology To Improve Mental Health In 2019
Rockville, Maryland. (March 5, 2019) — PsychU, an online community for mental health care, continues its emphasis on “Data & Technology To Improve Mental Health” throughout 2019.
Technology is transforming the way that health care services are delivered and how patients and consumers interact with care providers. Telehealth can greatly increase access to care for patients with mental illness. This service delivery method is especially needed in more rural parts of the United States where access to care can be limited.
Increasing access to psychiatrists and other mental health professionals is just part of the equation.
The emergence of new technologies and digital applications enable health providers to tailor service delivery models that focus on the access and engagement needs of varying demographics and chronic conditions.
Applying technology to increase client engagement and empowering active individual participation supports the attainment of optimal health goals and the improvement of patient outcomes.
