Eagle Telemedicine

Atlanta,  GA

Eagle Telemedicine delivers inpatient telemedicine in the following specialties: cardiology, hospitalist, ICU/critical care, infectious disease, maternal-fetal medicine, nephrology, neurology, oncology, psychiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology and stroke. Since 2008, the company has performed over 15,000 admissions, and averages more than 20,000 patient encounters annually.

Led by physicians, including Dr. Talbot “Mac” McCormick, CEO, we focus on rural hospitals with requirements defined by location and access to physicians. We customize each telemedicine program to the hospital.

Eagle uses a team approach. The hospital’s “pod” of providers train and collaborate with the onsite staff. Using a team of telemedicine physicians, communication between the hospital and the provider is often less complex and more efficient.

Our services are compatible with almost any equipment and software. As a result, the services support the hospital at the point of care delivery. ETHOS, the company’s proprietary telemedicine solution, operates independent of the equipment and EMR. This enables our providers to capture patient interactions and coordinate with hospital staff within the telemedicine service, while also documenting patient care and telemedicine activities in the hospital’s EMR.

Eagle implementations include credentialing support; assistance with technology selection; clinical workflow integration; and a mock go-live that simulates a patient consult. A telemedicine provider on the hospital's team leads the mock go-live, and allows the staff to test the entire process prior to launch. We also provide promotional support including patient education materials.

Our mission is to lead the industry through insight and innovation by providing hospitals with solutions to optimize patient outcomes; collaborate with our partner hospitals to continuously improve performance; and cultivate partnerships with hospitals to strengthen their ability to serve the underserved.
