We are a virtual community of telehealth and clinical experts creating a comprehensive platform for telehealth education. Our accredited courses educate physicians, nurses, administrators, IT teams, and policy makers in engaging, interactive content. TelehealthVillage exists thanks to a collaboration between the University of Virginia (UVA) Karen S. Rheuban Center for Telehealth, the Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center and the University of Virginia (UVA) Office of Continuing Medical Education.
Learn more about standing up a telemedicine team at your practice and how to incorporate these procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic with our online courses.
Foundations in Telehealth: The Foundations in Telehealth course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of current technologies and care delivery models and an introduction to the public policies that inform telehealth practice.
iSOCOMs: This course is designed to provide information on how to adopt and integrate telehealth or telemedicine technologies including Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Isolation Communication Management System (iSOCOMS) to manage emerging pathogens. Telemedicine, when used to care for patients hospitalized with a highly infectious pathogen, represents an important new use of technology.
