GEDSA will be sharing the background on the issues related to tubing misconnections, the global effort to establish a series of ISO standard design for system specific applications including the ISO 80369-6 Neuraxial design standards commonly known as NRFit. We will share details on what the new NRFit system will look like and how to carefully transition to a safer system that will reduce the risk of tubing misconnections. GEDSA will also discuss tools and strategies for appropriate implementation.
