ORBIS: Perioperative Data Analytics and Feedback Platform
Current electronic medical record systems are primarily documentation platforms with limited capability for real-time data analytics. Understanding outcomes, financial implications and clinical performance in real-time is challenging without an intuitive way to process and present the vast amount of perioperative data. ORBIS (Operating Room Business Intelligence Software) is an innovative web-based application that aggregates data from multiple sources and performs real-time analytics to improve perioperative performance. The exhibit will showcase this novel technology developed by a team of anesthesiologists, surgeons and informatics engineers at the University of Washington.
