Anesthesis: From Med to Mud and Back Again

The exhibit will consist of three different educational formats. The informative video describes an awake craniotomy in layperson terminology. Examples include placement of equipment such as the Mayfield device and arterial lines. The second format is a poster illustrating the same key points as the video. The poster will be displayed so that the viewer may ask questions about the video. A take-home pamphlet will be included in the exhibition, which summarizes the procedure. Finally, a survey will be given to participants to allow appraisal of our educational materials for further improvement of subject matter.
