Our goal at BrainStem Biometrics is to help anesthesiologists and intensivists better manage depth of anesthesia and nocioception in the OR and sedation levels in the ICU.
We are pioneering a reliable and acurate means of measuring brainstem function that we expect will be used to guide the titration of sedatives and other agents that affect the brainstem. The company is launching a simple low cost non-invasive single use sensor system that is based on nanoscale neurological oculomotor tremors that emanate in the brainstem reticular activation network.
