I’m inspired by texture and movement in my work and, of course, mother nature’s beautiful natural stones and minerals. I love combining different metals together and use sterling and fine silver, copper, brass and stainless steel in my designs. I texture the metal by hand, using stamps, hammers, files and other odd tools and use a patina and fine steel wool to distress pieces to give them an industrial, aged look. I love using heat-formed rivets and the articulated joints that result.
