Our story began Christmas 2014 when a relative gave us our first shaker bottle of an amazing seasoning called 'Mediterranean Basil Salt' that they had found at a holiday craft show. We brought it home, sprinkled it on our food, and immediately became addicted. For the next seven years, faithfully, that same relative would gift us our yearly supply. We were loyal users; putting it on almost everything we ate. 
 
When COVID hit, everything changed, and all the craft and trade shows were canceled. After running out of our favorite seasoning, we had to find it on our own. We discovered that the company, Mediterranean Basil Salt, would be vending at a local holiday craft show. When we ventured there to buy the salt, we also found out the business was for sale. At first, we did not give it a thought to buy the business - all we were worried about was, what if the company closed and we could no longer buy our favorite seasoning? 
 
Fast forward to February 2022, after my husband and I both lost our jobs due to COVID downsizing, we thought of Mediterranean Basil Salt...could we do this? After many conversations, negotiations, and a LOT of prayer, we decided to take the leap of faith and purchase the business. The rest, as "they" say, is history!
