Intelligence & National Security Summit - Classified Day


Event Location: NGA Campus East • 7500 GEOINT Drive, Springfield VA, 22150

New this year, a full day of classified sessions following the Intelligence & National Security Summit! The Intelligence & National Security Summit – Classified Day will be held on September 12, 2018 at the NGA Campus East in Springfield, VA. You must be registered for the 2-day Intelligence & National Security Summit and hold an active, final granted Top Secret/SI/TK clearance in order to attend this event.

Once you have registered for the 2-day Intelligence & National Security Summit, you will receive a special confirmation with access to the Intelligence & National Security Summit – Classified Day registration link. Please note that you must register separately in order to attend the Classified Day.

Cost to Attend

ONE DAY CLASSIFIED - You can only attend the One Day Classified if you are registered for the Two Day Summit on September 4-5, 2018. Upon receiving your confirmation for the Two Day Summit you will be provided access to the One Day Classified portal to register. You must also have a final granted Top Secret/SI/TK NOFORN clearance.

Clearances

Clearance Deadline: September 5, 2018
Timely passage of your clearance is important. Please note the submission deadline. If your clearance is not passed as required, you will not be able to attend the event.

Attendees WITH IC blue or green badges do not need to pass clearances. Please verify with your badging office that your IC badge is enabled to work at NGA facilities.

If you DO NOT have an Intelligence Community Blue or Green badge, you must have a clearance certification message submitted to the NCE Workforce Support Center by your Agency’s Special Security Officer (SSO) or Contractor’s Facility Security Officer (FSO).

Attendees must be U.S. citizens and possess a minimum active, final granted Top Secret/SI/TK clearance. Interim clearances are not accepted by NGA.

Your social security number and date of birth are required by NGA as part of the security clearance verification process and also for facility access.

Identification

All event attendees will be required to show a valid state** or federal issued photo identification (i.e. driver's license, state identification card, passport).

**Please note, NGA adheres to policies related to the REAL ID Act. The REAL ID Act is a federal law that created a national standard for state-issued driver's licenses and requires federal agencies to apply new rules for individuals entering their facilities. The 11 states and territories that currently have noncompliant driver's licenses are: Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, New Jersey, Northern Marianas and Oklahoma. Alternate forms of acceptable identification include: U.S. passports, DoD Common Access Cards, U.S. federal government identification cards and credentials.
