Blackhawk Aerospace Solutions (BAS), LLC is one of four Blackhawk Aerospace companies. The total number of employees for all Blackhawk companies is less than 80 which allows us to qualify as a small business for numerous aviation NACIS codes. BAS is a “One-Stop Shop” for the management of Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO) of aircraft subsystems, engine upgrades, the manufacture of composite aerospace parts, Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) development for aircraft powerplant and avionics modifications, aircraft repair, and full cockpit integrated avionics installations. BAS has over 13 years of stellar past performance providing world-class program management. BAS provides engine MRO with the fastest turn-around-times in the industry at very competitive pricing. BAS has 37 Supplemental Type Certificates for aircraft performance upgrades that have been installed on over 1,000 aircraft. Our performance upgrades solve obsolescence issues associated with legacy engine and propeller systems while dramatically expanding mission capabilities. Our composites shop is located in a HUD Zone and produces radomes, SATCOM covers, antenna housings, belly pods, propellers, and various other structural products for leading Original Equipment Manufacturers and Prime Defense Contractors. Our avionics facility develops STCs that integrate the latest technologically advanced avionics equipment for full suite replacement, conducts avionic installations, and performs aircraft repairs operates under FAA Part 145 Repair Station certificate number C42R049E. Our company has a robust Quality Management System that is ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100 RevD certified. We are an active member of GIDEP for the prevention of counterfeit parts.
