  • Armedia, LLC designed ArkCase to take advantage of the benefits realized from an open standard platform that offers agility, growth and resilience. ArkCase employs a modern modular, micro-service-based architecture that is flexible, extensible and scalable to meet a growing workload.  Through REST APIs, it exposes the core services that include:

    • Complaint management
    • Work Item / Case management
    • Document management 
    • Records management
    • Workflow configuration and management
    • Security and access control
    • Database management
    • User account and profile management
    • Auditing and reporting
    • Contact management
    • Communications, alerts and notification management.

    These services are available as standard features of the ArkCase platform and are used by the fully-responsive web application built using Angular that works on all browsers and scales to all mobile devices. The REST APIs also allow seamless integration with other enterprise applications within our clients’ environments if required. ArkCase combines state of the art COTS products that includes a Document Repository, a BPMN 2.0 compliant workflow engine, Data Reporting and Visualization tools etc. to name a few and is compatible with most known SQL Relational Database Systems.   

    ArkCase has pre-built modules for Legal Case Management, Public Records Requests Solution, Docketing, Critical Incident Management and Complaints Management that can provide fast, modern solutions. These modules are proven and in use by clients such as Washington Legislature, DC Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.

    ArkCase has an intuitive user interface that can be configured and extended to look like a client’s current systems’ look and feel.  Its responsive design will also enable clients to access its case management platform from mobile devices. These user-friendly characteristics will ease the adjustment of users adapting to a new system.

    ArkCase provides out-of-the-box workflow that complies with a client’s current business process – intake, process and close.

    • Intake – A complaint is entered via a webform, email, external portal, etc.  The complaint is investigated and adjudicate with one of the following dispositions – open a case, add to existing case, assign to external organization or close with no further action.
    • Processing – Once a complaint is closed with the disposition to open a case or add to existing case, it is processed which could be days or years.  It is assigned for the agents to collaborate and drive to closure. ArkCase provides rich document management to allow agents to capture relevant information to gain a complete view of the case.  In addition, ArkCase provides capabilities to reassign, merge, split, and link (i.e. cases, people, organizations, documents, etc.)
    • Close – Once a case is closed, ArkCase can be configured to retain the case for a defined retention period.

    Optional Service Extensions to the ADF platform include, but are not limited to

    • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) service extension developed for Pan-America Health Organization (PAHO) implementation ties the Okta multi-factor authentication platform into the ArkCase implementation for PAHO. This module also supports Ping MFA as an alternative. Additional MFA platform extensions can also be configured and supported through this extension.
    • Video/Audio transcription service extension provides the ability to transcribe video and audio files to text and provide full text search capabilities on the video and audio files stored in the underlying content management system.
    • AWS Cloud service extension adds the ability to make use of multiple AWS cloud services – the AWS transcription service being one of those. This adds the ability to use AWS storage (S3, Glacier) and AWS data analytics services as well as AWS data warehouse (RedShift) for the ArkCase platform as needed.
    • Advanced Data Analytics extension allows ADF platform to use either the ElasticSearchLogstash-Kibana (ELK) or the Solr-Logstash-Kibana (SiLK) platform stacks as the data analysis and visualization platform.

    Armedia provides a secure AWS environment that is FedRAMP moderate ready with over 325 security controls applied for hosting ArkCase platform. The environment is compliant with NIST 800-53 standards and has been used by Pan-America Health Organization and Sharecare to host confidential and PII data.
