MFMR is the only rural residency in the state of Maryland and just 70 miles west of Baltimore and Washington, DC. With an osteopathic foundation, MFMR develops family physician leaders, engages residents in public health solutions, and provides an individualized approach so each resident achieves their goals. Unopposed learning occurs at a 17,000ft state-of-the-art Family Medicine Center and the beautiful Meritus Medical Center, a 257 bed independent hospital with a passionate medical staff.
