American Fascial Distortion Model Association
The American Fascial Distortion Model Association is a nonprofit Affiliate of the AOA. Our mission is to teach and encourage the use of the Fascial Distortion Model across the US and the Americas. The model allows practitioners to interpret a patient’s pain (or other symptoms) through body language and verbal descriptions. Manual treatments, both specific to the FDM and techniques already broadly used through the osteopathic community, are taught and utilized to correct distorted fascia. We have certified instructors that teach across the US and internationally. Our organization also supports and encourages ongoing research in the FDM.
