South Carolina Osteopathic Medical Society
The South Carolina Osteopathic Medical Society (SCOMS) is the voice for osteopathic medicine in the state of South Carolina. Nearly 600 physicians, residents, medical students, and associates who have an unwavering passion for the osteopathic profession comprise the membership. With more than 1,500 DOs in South Carolina, SCOMS works to: • Advocate on behalf of osteopathic medicine in South Carolina • Build public awareness of osteopathic medicine • Promote the quality healthcare provided by its members • Represent its members in legislative issues • Offer an array of CME opportunities and benefits to its members • Host networking and social opportunities
