Florida Institute of Oceanography
The Florida Institute of Oceanography (FIO) supports marine science, technology and education in Florida for a consortium of 30 members, including all 12 Florida public and 7 private universities. FIO operates one of the largest state-owned fleets of small regional and coastal class oceanographic research vessels as well as the Keys Marine Laboratory. Our newest vessel, the 78’ R/V W.T Hogarth, was commissioned in the fall and will be available for charter in spring, 2018. Visit fio.usf.edu
