  • HEITRONICS TRT is for use as a Transfer Standard of the highest level at NMIs (National Metrological Institutes) and is applicable to other Infrared Calibration Labs. The use of a TRT will ensure that the true radiance temperature of the Blackbody or Plate Radiation Source is utilized for calibrating the other instruments under test.
TRT configurations include…………… Model TRTIV.82 Temperature Range: –50 °C to 1000 °C; Spectral Range: 8 to 14 microns Field of View; ø6.8mm @ 380mm distance (for approx. 99% collected radiation; SSE defines the ~99.9% dia. ) NETD; from approx. 20mK Uncertainty capability via NMI Certification from approx. 70mK, using k = 2, for temperatures ≤100 °C
  • Blackbody Calibration Sources are required to calibrate infrared radiation thermometers, radiometers and thermal imaging cameras. The HEITRONICS ME30 delivers –20 °C to 180 °C range that will require an external chiller.

ME30 meets all the requirements for adjustment and calibration of radiation thermometers according to German VDI/VDE-guideline 3511, Temperature Measurement in Industry, Parts 4 & Part 4.4 for Calibration of Radiation Thermometers.

    Emissivity: 0.9994 ± 0.0002

    Aperture:  60 mm (2.36") diameter

Cavity depth to end of wedge: 300mm (11.8”)

Excellent temperature uniformity within the cavity

High precision control with 0.1 °C resolution set-point

    High stability, low controller oscillations

  • KT19 Infrared Thermometer ( IRT )
Infrared Radiometer for temperature measurement of Sea Surface, Land, and Sky providing ~30 years of high performance measurements....

  • -100 to 50 °C span available.  8 to 14 um, 9.6 to 11.5 um and 14 to 16 um spectral ranges are available.   KT19's are applied on aircraft and land installations. Can be applied on ocean vessels but see also the CT15 Series. KT19 utilizes a specialized chopped radiation method of measurement with pyroelectric detector that the company developed starting  ~40 years ago. The benefits of the method produce the utmost in long term stability and compensation for varying ambient temperature fluctuations. KT19 includes the standard feature to accept an input from a second IRT measuring sky temperature to compensate for sky reflectoins off the sea surface or land surface being measured. Outputs include analog 0-1V, 0-10V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA and RS232 with simple ASCII command structure.

For ocean vessels and the requirement for a stainless steel housing and IP67 sealing, see also CT15 Series.

For UAV's and other confined mounting space requirements, see also KT15 Series.
