Poster Presentations: Important Dates and Times

Scientific Program Posters
For the first time at SSO, posters are evolving to an ePoster format and will be displayed in disease-site areas throughout the exhibit hall. All posters accepted via the SSO 2019 Call for Abstracts process will be required to upload their digital poster file, which will be available on kiosks in the hall, and online to attendees. SSO staff will be in communication with all poster presenters in early February with ePoster submission instructions.

In addition, the top 25% of posters will be highlighted by also having a physical poster in the exhibit hall on Thursday and Friday, similar to past years. Poster presenters will be notified in early February if they’ve been selected for this poster format.

Global Partner Posters Program
SSO’s Global Partner Posters Program is an important component of the Society’s efforts to advance its Mission to improve multidisciplinary patient care by advancing the science and practice of cancer surgery worldwide. Top abstracts from international surgical oncology and relevant cancer surgery meetings and their presenters are invited to be a part of the SSO Annual Cancer Symposium. These posters are identified by the leadership and program committees of the societies as the top abstracts presented at their various meetings in 2018. All Global Partner Posters will have a physical poster in the exhibit hall on Thursday and Friday. They can also submit an ePoster as well.
