    THE BLYNC SENSORS AND PULSE

In the year 2018, 96% of people regularly carry a cell phone, tablet, headphones and/or other electronic devices. Most of these devices emit signals from their WiFi or Bluetooth™ antenna, transmitting a unique identifier known as a MAC address. In addition to these wireless re-identification data sources, the Blync-1218 collects information from Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) signals. Tire pressure monitoring in vehicles was made mandatory by the U.S. Government in 2007; today over 90% of the vehicles on the road transmit a wireless signal every 30 or 60 seconds. The diversity of signals that the Blync-1218 is capable of analyzing allows Blyncsy to offer clients the highest capture rate of any remote-monitoring traffic statistics sensor on the market. A recent data comparison in the State of Florida compared Blyncsy to toll tag readers and other re-identification vendors and found Blyncsy to lead with a match rate of nearly 35% on high speed roadways.

Blyncsy’s focus on privacy and security have resulted in a system that follows best-practices for storing and transmitting re-identification signals. Unique identifiers from wireless signals are transformed into a unique, anonymized signature through a process called hashing and salting before storage and analysis. This process protects consumer privacy and allows Blyncsy to offer a consumer opt-out on its website for anyone concerned with data collection. Data is then securely stored in Blyncsy’s enterprise-grade databases for further analysis and visualization via the report format client prefers (e.g., Excel, CSV, JPG) and via Blyncsy’s web-based analytics platform, Pulse.

Flexibility and cost-effectiveness for clients are important to Blyncsy; the Blync-1218 can be run off 110V ac. The sensor can operate wirelessly via cellular (which is included) or connect to an existing network, for example WiFi or Ethernet. Blyncsy Pulse allows customers to query, visualize and export data such as travel times; typical origins to a point of interest; destination distribution from a point of interest; and paths between two points of interest. All of the data can be broken down using advanced analytics such as rush hour analysis, weekend analysis and event analysis. Blyncsy’s cutting-edge business model provides you with a license to its software and the sensors to collect the data. Should either fail, a continuous warranty allows customers to rest easy in the fast-paced market of technology changes.

Quality is the most important facet of the products and services Blyncsy offers clients. For that reason, Blyncsy requests data audits from third parties. The Blync-1218 collects more signals than any competitor sensor on the market today. The Blync-1218 can detect over 99% of devices that are transmitting within range of the sensor. Three effective ranges for each sensor technology are defined: Wi-Fi strongest within 400ft(122m); BluetoothTM strongest within 250ft(70m); TPMS strongest within 100ft(30m).

Blyncsy’s hardwired units are 8”x8”x4”(20 cm x 20 cm x 10 cm) form factor with 4 inches of depth, the enclosure is NEMA and IP67 rated and can run on 110-240v AC. Each sensor is equipped with a Verizon 4G LTE cellular modem that is included as is the data usage throughout the entire term of the agreement. Sensors capture data in real time, transmitting data in batches every 60 seconds for low latency communications, over 10 GB of local storage is available. 4GLTE is the optimal choice for continued future proof service as Verizon and other carriers start sunsetting its CDMA/3G networks starting in 2019 to make room for continued 4G and 5G.
